History:
Suzanne has been fascinated with horror movies since an early age. Her parents own a video rental store, and she managed to completely watch through their back catalogue of old horror movies by the time she was eight. Even though her parents probably should have been a little worried about her fascination with blood and guts, they seemed to encourage it. She has been working in the store (officially) since she was fifteen, although she’s been running around there or watching movies in the back ever since she was born.
She started filming her own movies when she was twelve with her parents hand-held camera. Of course, what she focused on was horror movies, starting with the classic ‘monster movies’ before coming up with more original ideas and filming them as well. She writes her own scripts, directs them, and occasionally stars in them, although she’d much rather be working behind the camera. She got into UCLA’s film school by sending one of her better movies as a part of her application and, while still working at her parents’ video store, goes to school as well.
She’s recently started to get a following on the internet with her own fictional movies, plus her videos of the recent zombie invasion of LA as well. Her videos were one of the first ways that news of the zombies got out, since, at first, the regular news was trying to pass it off as something that it wasn’t.
Personality:
To those who don’t know her (or who are working with her), Suzanne can come across as very bossy and demanding. She simply thinks that, if she hired or asked someone to work with her, that they need to be giving her their best at all times. When she’s not behind the camera, she can be a very genial and nice person to hang around. When working through, she’s well earned the private nickname of ‘mein directory’ that no one is willing to say to her face. |
